Diablo 2 comp, Did it end up going ahead? Options

hey Guys respawn v17 was my fist Lan event that i had been to, and me and my brother stayed till the early hours of the morning, we didnt get to stay for the rest of sunday, and i was just wondering if the diablo 2 competition ended up happening? Because i that was the one i really wanted to play, and if it did end up happening, what were the results?

Like the CSS GunGame one, we ran in to troubles getting the appropriate server stuff running to allow us to do it. The battle went on for hours, and eventually it was resolved that it was not to be. It was almost won, and so many times, we thought we'd won, only to be disappointed when it denied us our victory.

It was the one fun comp I was really looking forward to :'(
