So this is the thread for v16 FOOD (yes i know this is earlier than normal, im ORGANISED ;D )

This is where i will let you guys know what i'm thinking of selling, and to get feed back smile.gif

From The Candy Box
-Assorted 50g packet of chips (inc. smiths, thins, samboys, red rock deli, grain weaves)
-Assorted small candy bars (curley wirly, chomp etc)
-Assorted 50g candy bars (cadbury / mars / skittles / etc)
-Assorted BAGGED lollies (allens, natural confectionary co. etc)


NEW IDEAS
Slice's - Hedgehog / lemon slice / caramel (Basically someone told me that i make killer slices and they want moar of them, so i thought about selling them at respawn... nom!)
Possibly muffins!

We are currently investigating having some sort of alternative hot food on saturday evening (such os hot pies, etc)

So let me know about that menu!

Feedback is not only welcome, i hole-heartedly encourage it, I'm trying to make the lan as awesome an experience possible for you guys here! biggrin.gif

Prices will be probbaly the same as normal. EXCEPT, canned drinks MAY have to go from $1 to $1.50 as now it is SO hard for me to get drinks for under $1.

You can buy coke, sprite etc at coles & safeway on special and it will break down to around .60c a can and still sell at $1 if you like!!!!!! Good bargain!!!! biggrin.gif

Muffins are good but very time consuming to make unless you have many trays and ovens at your disposal. Also really easy to screw up.

Slices would be great, veeeery cheap and easy to make and very filling. You could probably get away with $1.50 for a generous slice.

If you need a volunteer (ex Baker) I'll make a couple of trays of Uber Hedgehog i'll donate to the LAN.

+1 for Rockstar Guava. You can buy slabs from Bruno's Distributors in Brunswick on Saturdays when they're open to the public (I asked one day as I work just around the corner). Shouldn't be too expensive, as they're a warehouse wholesaler, as far as I know.
Also, any chance of some awesome Vanilla Slice? smile.gif

I've got an account with a wholesaler who sells it already smile.gif and it's on the shopping list, lol!

vanilla slice as in snot blocks? i've never had much luck making them, i will attempt tham again this week!

Yea, unfortunately sometimes people suggest things to me several months in advance, and then when im rushing around trying to do all the shopping, i forget! this time, it's definately on the shopping list smile.gif
