can you make cod 4 mod downloads redirected to download faster? ive tryed tinyweb/box but im only a newbie:(

last respawn the mods took forever to download and after 30mins of waiting for a mod people don't feel like playing anymore:(

If not a HTTP redirection for the downloads, there'll be a cvar to allow faster downloads.

Every other server I've fiddled with has one.

have to redirect cod alnys lets people draw from servers at like 10-20kb have to do HTTP

Which mod?

Things like promod/pam and even gungame are like 1mb max, and there are no custom maps/models/sounds or anything

But yeah, if speeds were that bad last time, its easy to set up



as an aside,
I was going to make a custom whacky map gungame server.. like a certain CS gungame server we play on.. but there were many issues with custom maps last time i tried.. plus each map is between 20-80mb so it takes ages to download them off the net

but there are 2 weeks between my last exam and respawn.. so who knows smile.gif
