So the lan is over. What did you guys think of it? I thought it was awesomely awesome and the admins did a great job of the network and organisation of the competitions. (Except what happened to trackmania? )

Pros:
-Network was fast
-No Power Issues for me
-Comps were announced well (unlike other lans i've been to where everyone's like "when's the CS comp?" and the CS comp was 5 hours ago....)
-33TB on DC

Cons:
-Needs more dragons
-Pizza place were noobs because they didn't label the pizza boxes properly
-Trackmania comp either wasn't run or went really really late (i had to leave at ~9am on Sunday)

the little kids from the karate were great!! freaking scared me lmao...

front wheel cars suck or my clutch control... accidental possible burn-out outside the door was PURE accident.. lots of weight in the back.. front wheel drive.. up hill + tiredness = bad..

It was an ausome LAN, dissapointed that I had to go early. Good job to the Admins and Gophers that made the event possible, and well done to those in the Halo 2 and Maro Kart comp. Mario Kart seemed a popular one which we'll be having again at the next one.

This respawn was excellent I had shit loads of fun, leeching and gaming. There should of been the Trackmania competition on but what the hell, it was a great lan besides that. The HDD throwing was awesome. I didn't get shit but it was still cool. Mario kart competition i got owned first round came last FTL!?

Had a great time. I was sleeping right next to that stupid pin the eyes on the ninja game and the amount of kicks my matress took was annoying but i got over it.

Pro's
- DC++, lot of files that i wanted, was able to get slots off alot of the terrabyte guys which was good. Speeds were good to.
- xbox's were good
- admins top of there game getting comps going.
- 10% discount at maccas. Sure you only save like 2 bucks but its still cool.
The BBQ's. Tho i dont think the admins will buy so many snag's next time.

Con's
- Not enough BF2 players
- Someone was opening the doors at the back, it was freezing. Thankfully we won the back and forth comp of open and shut.
- People yelling shit though the mic.
- Trackmania comp not being run. (if it was, my bad)
- did i mention not enough bf2.

Just a couple of things related to the CS:Source comp. It just needed to be run more professionally. There were a couple of matches that were lived half way through even when told it was live. Just wondering why it didnt start until 10pm. It wasn;t great having the source comp finals at 6am on sunday morning.

Other than that it was an awesome LAN. Thanks guys.

This was one of the more enjoyable lans I have been too. I entered all the competitions I wanted to easily and the food was dealth with quite well. I though there could have been some more games played with a lot of people in them say for instance BF2. Most games I played had under 8 players in them. I had no troubles at all with the network.

It would be great if some random game is pulled out that is easy to install that everyone can play but that not many people play due to other games superceding it. Serious Sam or the Jedi Knight series spring to mind. Maybe some old school zerg rushes could be made.

Yes I wasnt happy with the Source comp either, these are the problems that contributed to it being run late:

-Power issue around 12:15pm that went to 1pm delaying the WC3 comp, which in turn delayed everything else, also had problems with people wanting to join when the comp had already started.

- The tournament system that was used for the WC3 comps didnt run as well as it could have, and instead the new system that was used for the CS:S comp will be used for all the comps.

-The living of stuff was gay and was my fault and another admins, this problem has also been resolved.

Basically whats going to happen is, next lan if you arnt registered for the competition by the time it's started, sorry but too bad. I am tired of delaying these comps by unreasonable amounts and I'm going to be a start time nazi from now on.

the lan was awesome me and friends had a great time. 1 big complaint.

not enough games. we got knocked out the css comp and where sitting around the rest of the night as they played . you could of ran games for the losing teams. even to just fill in the time. i woudl of played to be second last rather than last . (hyperthetical) becuase i dont even know the results. have they been posted ???

also some more games would be really good like not just random servers which are very boring and just like playin from home.

u could of had teams of 2, 3, 4 enter COD2 , BF2 ..... for semi comps prizes for this would not be important but would make the lan allot more of a lan than a leechathon.

other than that everything was awesome great dc++ cheers to u tspec and all the other people sharing.

food was suprisingly good for 7 bucks .
barbacue was good. drinks where also well priced.

Cheers guys had a great time look forward to the next.
