Please Vote - This will help determine the BBQ's for Respawn V14 and future

Hi Guys,

A few of you have mentioned in the V13 and prior feedback threads, you love the BBQ and have suggested a few options. Now this is an official poll that will run until the night before the LAN. (ie: Thursday Prior)

Snags - Regular Sausages like normal

Hamburgers - These will be bought or home made by myself or Tank depending on how much interest is taken on them.

Vege Option - We know there are vegetarians who goto respawn, we haven't forgotten you but as Tank (CheckIN/Food leader) mentioned, we have had very little interest or request for it, so it sort of got shelved.

PS: If your a vegetarian and are going to respawn, PM myself or Tank and i'm sure we can accomodate you on a small basis.

Cheers

Jeffy - aka Ian Hewitson (Chef Extrodinarre)

Hold the mushroom sauce on mine - I'm not a fan of it.

Funny... I don't see hazard signs around you... or a general public disclaimer... or anything that normally comes with dangerous things.

Except we have snags for breakfast cause they are what are not cook for dinner, and we don't want to waste snags!!! I will look into the costs of such things (costs, mess, etc.) and yep, will definately buy veggie burgers! what kind?

Burgers AND snags for dinner. Breakfast = pancakes, eggs + bacon.

I swear we had eggs at one or two pre-v10 events, and it was great.

we DID have eggs, you are correct, and while they were tasty (yuuum) they are more expensive (remember, we provide the BBQ's free of charge smile.gif ) more messy to cook, and more messy to clean.

and for those veggie folks, if you could PM (or.. post! smile.gif ) me where to get decent veggie burgers (i've actually never purchased them before! ohmy.gif ) i'll definately get some, regardless of cost.

You need to get out more.

Try some real food next time you're hungry. A kebab, indian, thai curries, chicken parma, etc. McDonals is the bottom of the food chain.

I just can't respect someone who calls McDonals perfection.

Any places you can get kebabs near respawn at ungodly hours?

Also echoing the fact that McDonald's is pig disgusting. Only acceptable if you are between the ages of 6-12 or blitzed on Schoolies. Shame.

no late night kebabs in the area afaik.
might be worth trying Bell st, but otherwise, you'd be heading a lot closer to the city.
Can't say I've explored the area after around 1am, but seemed pretty dead...

If you're going as far as bell street there is a KFC along there somewhere, before plenty road I think? Probably another few chains when I think about it, haven't been there in a while though.

Guys,

We will put a print out up next to the check-in desk of known food areas and food hotspots. This about the most we can do.

There is...
3 x McDonalds within driving distance (20min tops)
Subway
KFC
Fish and Chips
Safeway
Coles
Hungry Jacks

http://maps.google.com.au/ is your best friend **PRIOR** to the lan.

Jeffy

Fish and chips?
Damn, getting $20 of chips instead of the average pizza sounds awesome.

FYI, what giarus mentioned is the other way to Bell St.

Don't forget, there's a Red Rooster, a Target, at least 4 pizza places (+ dominos but their walk in service is crap), 2 indian restaurants and Nandos. ^^ lots of other things too, but cbb remembering. xD
