I think you should work on your proof reading skills before anything else, but personally I am using a Logitech G9, and have been for about a year.
I love it.

Everyone has their own opinion on gaming mice.
I personally have a Logitech G7 and a Logitech MX518
I wouldnt go past either for quality and performance.
If you prefer a lighter mouse, then razer make some good options.

You can go right past that G7 and get a G5 2007 edition
Logitech have a new mouse out too that is like a mix between the G5/G7 and the G9.. G500 or something

I quite happily use the Razer Lachesis. http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-lachesisIt works well, gives me good response times.

They moved the laser from the middle, to almost right up the front with the G500. If it wasn't for that, id really consider buying one. (Still want to try it though)

QUOTE (GIARUS @ Oct 20 2009, 02:01 AM) Atm alot of people are telling me 2 get the G5 i would like 2 buy another logitech. as i haven't had problems with them but the g5 2 me is a bit bulky is there any other gaming mouse that would be better. Personally I love the G5, I got the original the first month it was released and only had to replace it a few weeks ago, with a series 2 G5. Happy with my choice to stick with the G5. And no its not really bulky, I thought it was quite small?

Microsoft x5 Its like $44 at pcdiy/msy, up to 2000dpi and has 2 thumb buttons. Sure as shit beats paying $89 for a razor with your usual l/r click and no extra's. Razors are too expensive, and the logitechs are only marginally better in price vs value

The side buttons are well placed. Actually the whole mouse is pretty good to me. I don't like the design on it though, but it somewhat suits my computer so it's not that bad.
