The article you link does not mention anything about them implementing this - only patenting.

There are no laws against patenting stupid ideas - it is, in fact, very common for retarded ideas that will never see the light of day to be patented.

It's certainly not impossible they'll do this, in fact I'd say it's certainly plausible - just keep in mind they haven't done it yet (at least, that this article mentions)
