Heroes of Newerth? Options

There currently isn't any LAN functionality available for the game yet. Just wondering if there will be an internet connection available to possibly play the game at the event? From my experience it is a very efficient internet game and requires minimal speeds and data usage. If anybody could give me a heads up that'd be sweet.

Extremely lag sensitive. Uses not heavy amounts of bandwidth but given the current steam issues, its high unlikely it will function on the connection even if given the green light.
