This shit scares me almost as much as pingu.

Yeah I think the've gone too far however the upside of this is that if Apple have the patent, nobody else can abuse the technology like this. For example, if someone wrote a virus for jailbroken phones to do just this, Apple could also sue them for patent infringement.

Apple, unlike, say, Sony, won't actually do it.
