I think what Orbit (guy who runs the fun comps) was trying to do, rather then having many short fun comps, we had a few that went through out the event (Diablo II and Minecraft), and the DDR mats and poker for AFK comps.

Correct. Orbit did a fantastic job with this.

I would like to have hourly funcomps return for people who dont play DDR and minecraft

Personally, I would like both on-going, but some sort of competition for the on-going things, a larger prize then the regular fun comps on the basis that you are spending more time at the event working on <insert activity in the game here>.
