Pokemans tournament @ respawn? Options

How many Respawn-ers are planning to own (and bring) a 3DS by v20?

It would be an easy way to get a head start on all that Streetpass malarkey

I'm up for a Pokey tourney, might even sign myself up to run it. But I don't think (/am not sure) all that many have Black/White yet... or my money priorities lately have been somewhat misplaced and it's all my fault for not owning it yet and I am, in fact, the odd one out here.

SO,
a.) If I try to do this thing, can I do it with a copy of D/P/P, or even SS, and still play you Black/White kids?
b.) If not, I'll try to acquire a copy of Black (yes, black. haters.) before the event and transfer in my babies from SS.

Are you talking srs bsnss Pokeymans (EV levelling and whatnot) or just casual?

If I'm running this thing it will DEFINITELY be casual. Probably limited to lv50, and legendaries barred.

Don't worry, the 'mon in B/W are terribad (save for the muthalincking polar bear. Bad. Ass.).
I'd probably want to use Diamond instead of White (power!).

Ohhhhkay. So, after after running out and scoring Pokémon Black, I had a look at the competitive stuff, and realised (duh.) that backwards compatibility doesn't exist, and so only Black and White can compete with Black and White. Seeing as I'm not going to have finished the game by Respawn v20, I've decided that:

There will be 2 grand Pokémon tournaments!
(assuming enough people show interest)

The first tournament will be for players with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold and/or Soul Silver. There will only be one team per player (I'll be using SS, for example, where I could also have used Diamond or Platinum).

The second tournament will be for the players who want to use their Black/White teams. Seeing as your snobby 5th Gen Pokés won't play along with our more humble 4th Gen ones.. *mutter*

The levels will be capped, no legendaries allowed, the usual. Only one team per player per tournament.

This will be run some time after the pizza delivery (just to make your D-pads all slimy ^^). Check the roster at the event and keep your ears open for the announcements!
