Prizes and competitions!

Registrations are OPEN! We have also decided to increase the prize money for some of our popular competitions. Details are still being finalised however we have confirmed that we will be running the following competitions:

• Warcraft III 1v1: $300 first prize, $100 second
• Warcraft III DOTA 5v5: $500 first prize
• Counter-Strike 5v5: $500 first prize
• Flatout 2 (which will run on Saturday)
• Call Of Duty 4

We're also looking at having some poker happening under the balcony throughout the event. Hard drive throwing will RETURN this time for sure.

Gamerthon!

Our friends at Anything Interactive are running an event staring on March 31st and ending on Respawn weekend. Their competitions include Call Of Duty 4 which runs on the Tuesday and CS Source which completes on the Friday. More information can be found at their website, http://www.gamerthon.net.

I've added COD4 to the list however we're not sure what the prizes for the competition will be at this stage.

TF2 seems to require large (8 or so) team sizes which don't seem to be very popular however we will be running some organised games of TF2. Not sure whether we'll run a TF2 comp at this stage.
