Or do I wait for new socket 2011?

Honestly I think you should build something better than that, if you're planning to just game, only get around 6GB because you won't really need 8GB+ unless you are hosting servers

Will be running virtual machines etc, hence why running 16gb DDR3, and 4 x 2tb drives.
