Total War: Rome 2 will be released 3rd September, from there you will have two weeks to refine your strategies for the battles to come!

Yeah, it's not bad. I'll admit I'm more of a fan of Shogun 2, but that may be simply because it's more stable :-)

...I blame my rig.

Maybe it's competition material in future, but not yet.
