First Timer Question, Firsty but not a lasty Options

Hey everyone,

Sorry to be a noob but this will be my first and hopefully not last, respawn. I would like to know if its possible to show up on the day and play freely or spec (free) or do we need a team.

Secondly, i wanted to know if you had any plans for a Caster, as i am only 16 but im told i do a mean american Commentator for games.

The comps are only a small part of respawn. There are many LOG (Large Organized Games) servers that you can jump in and out of at will. These include, but are not limited to, CSS, WC3, COD4, TF2, UT2k4. Other games, such as RTS's are occasionally organized with the help of the forums. If, however, you are really dead set on competing, there are usually teams that need one or two players, so if you go up to the admin desk b4 the comps start, you should be able to get in.

As well as computer games, there are AFK competitions held by TANK, many people bring consoles/handhelds (wii, xbox 360, DS, PSP) that would more than welcome you if you wanted to play with them, and you can download all the latest game patches/linux versions/movie trailers from people off the FTP network!
