Just to get a feeling for numbers, which would you prefer?

There will be servers running before the comp starts, so you can see what perks are allowed and practice too.

Unless there are setbacks, it is scheduled to start at 4pm.

Map choice will be random for each game

In a day or 2 i'll post up some official comp rules

They both provide a competition modification for the game.

Promod is the most common and used mod for COD4. It is used all over the world and has more modifications to weapons (such as bullet damage) and the removal of perks to allow for more balanced gameplay. Promod is used on the Cybergamer COD4 ladder (www.cybergamer.com.au). Personally I recommend this for any type of LAN over PAM4.

PAM4 is a less known mod but is used on the very popular GameArena COD4 ladder (www.gamearena.com.au). It has a lot less weapon restrictions, allows use of perks (with a few restrictions), and very little modifications to the original COD4. It is more for casual gamers and less competitive players.
