Dawn of War 2 Options

Anyone playing this atm? I am still only doing skirmishes.

I'm pretty obsessed with this game atm and will definatley want to play at the LAN, its good to be into an RTS for once its been a while. Is anyone else out there looking forward to playing this game at the LAN?

DoW 2 sucks unfortunately, DoW 1 on the other hand is complete and utter win!
DoW 2 may have better skirmishes etc, but meh who wants that anymore, its all about online..and online DoW fails completely. Wish it didn't though... Maybe an expansion may be better.

DoW 2 is noob based. That is, it does everything for you. Fleet On Foot..done for you. DoW one you actually had to micro manage your fleet on foot. As per the following - Move Fleet on Foot on, Turn it Off, quickly shoot and move again before whoever your shooting at is able to start shooting themselves.. that was the micro management i loved in DoW 1 which is just not present in DoW 2. It is also the stuff people who didn't play online didn't get to see and straight away assume DoW2 has better strategy too it..

It's like comparing Eve online to WoW.... WoW will always come out as the kids game...
