0.75 has less issues than the others, and a lot of improved features - it automatically checks other users share lists and downloads from them if they have the same file (much like torrents, the one file can come from many sources)

0.306 is the old version that doesnt require hashing, but lacks all the awesome features (and tends to bog down a machine more - it seems to hash when files are requested, making it harder to run while gaming)

my advice is to use 0.75 or 0.674 0 or a combination of both.
(i share in 0.75, and download via 0.674)

there is no valid reason to use 0.306 other than pure laziness.
Takes too long to hash? tough. you only have to do it ONCE.

DC .306 has been run always for the sharing of legitimate files such as Linux ISO's etc. I've never had issues, people whinge "Oh its running too slow". For some of us, hashing is a long and ardous task that given .306 works PERFECTLY fine.I tried 0.75, it has issues I disagree with...1) Days to hash2) Hardly anyone uses it3) 0.306 works fine.Long and the short of it, use 0.306
