well as the title suggests im looking at buying a new case,
it has to be lightweight so i can carry it around for LANNING and stuff like that
but it also has to be cool looking
and also has to be able to fit a decent amount of stuff
thanks
-Anarchy RD
So far ive been told to look into getting a
http://www.antec.com/usa/productDetails.php?lan=us&id=15900
but i dont like that case...
Coolermaster 590
Antec 300
I have a 590, they rock.. although they (just like any other case) get heavy if you put heaps of stuff inside
Whatever you do, don't get a Antec P182. Love the case but with all the sound dampening, goddamn it's heavy as hell.
ok TechL ur coming with me when i go to buy my new case! haha
Thanks neon, i wasnt planning on spending too much
although i may just mod my case
cant remember what model it is
but its a normal coolermaster case
I prefer the antec 300 over the 900
i prefer the p182 over all of them haha
i use a http://au.shuttle.com/product_detail.jsp?PI=971 Its very small you can fit 3 hdd's and a dvd writer in it also will fit any current vidcard.
check out my sig for what i have in mine.
also gtx 280 will fit
if u want to see it ile be at the next respawn.
any1 else got ideas
im looking for a case thats got a clear side so i can put in all my LED's again
and light up my case
i have an antec 900.
the guts of the thing are stupidly amazing.
the internal design is so clean and organised, ontop of that u get blue leds all over the shop.
pros/cons IMO.
pros:
1everything is easy as shit to organise, mad case extremist rganisation possiblities.
2hard drive cages are interchangeable at the front, u can move them around with the dvd drives etc.
3air flow goes liek this

------i clocked my e6850(3.00ghz) to 3.7 with a stock cooler.-----
4nothing in it, so its light.
5watercooling grommets.
6able to fit (just) 2x 4870 1gb in. reasonably big on the inside, amazingly small on the out.
7LOOKS COOL IMO
8CHEAP AS SHIT.
cons:
1psu down the bottom (i dont really mind it tbh, cept dust gets in the fan etc.)
2wud be noisey if u had noisey parts (mines quiet cos i picked out my parts specifically).
360% of people dont like the looks =\
4 not likely to fit dual cpu mobos in *sadface*
OVERALL: its fuckign awesome. dont get it cos then ull be copying me :DDDDD
antec 900 is shit. Most antec cases are just as shit. no cable management what so ever, no holes in motherboard for cable management, except the P182, and the thing looks so messy inside because its crampt and cables go everywhere. CM 690 is highly praised.
Lian Li PC-A17B Case Black - i think this case is great but now days i will only get a case with a door. Hate having the optical drives exposed :\ I like the p182 but yea its not aluminum. Get something with a black chassis mmm
i got one of them old apple comp cases u can mod like the one form 2003 or something
personaly i would make a case out of play doe, easly modible, and, if your hungry at lans and run out of money... you can eat it
lame yo!
ohwell
i bought a new case today at 4:00 NZXT Lexa Blackline Blue
Cheers for letting us know what time
no problem
Im using a TT armor now
Good cable management, lots of space... HEAVY AS HELL
but meh i still haul it to lans
side note, Just built in an Antec 902, HEAVY AS HELL with i7 gear etc!
Well I just bought a new case for the rig I’m building. I got the Cooler Master Storm Scout. It’s a great case with plenty of ventilation and has a handle on the top for easy manoeuvring. It has a transparent side window and comes with three fans two of which are LED's (140mm Intake, 120mm Exhaust). It was kind of pricey I got it for 169 without a PSU but it’s around 150 now at CPL. Anyways here’s a picture for you.
i was just going to say that case lol
Cooler Master SGC-2000-KKN1

Well i got the antec 1200. not recomended for lans as its heavy as hell but it looks nice.
with the 6 speed controlled fans and watercooling support.
