The sad thing is that I have a low powered 2nd PC... very low power.... and as I stated I will only be eating as one and will only probably use one monitor....

Still uses more power  I beleive the guys calculate the power for the event based on the amount of PC's turning up, and that is based on 1 pc per rego. Any more than that, and then the power issues start - of course there is an overhead, for the admins servers, vip table, etc - but if one person brings an extra pc - sure thats 401 computers, but then everyone says, hey, he has 2, i'll bring 2 as well - then we have 500 computers - and there is the problem.

I used to bring a laptop hooked up to external drives for sharing, I'd game on the desktop while browsing dc++ on the lappie.
Gave it up around v8 or 9 though
