Thanks to the help of Swinburne University and Cisco Systems, Respawn LAN will be the first LAN in the country to make use of the high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet standard as part of our backbone for Respawn LAN v3.

We are still putting the final touches on our event timetable. For now, we can expect the following:

* Warcraft 3 1v1 to begin at 12:30PM (this is early!)
* Warcraft 3 DOTA to begin at 3:30PM
* Counter-Strike SOURCE 5v5 to begin at 5PM.
* Trackmania Nations to begin at 9:30PM

There will be breaks for food in between. NGU Gaming League will be running various tournaments on their XBOX and XBOX 360 consoles throughout this time - these will be publicised at the event.

Please ensure you arrive with sufficient time to verify that your PC is working. Due to the popularity of some of our competitions (especially CS Source), we cannot afford to delay the competitions.

Regarding registration for this event, the AusGamers system still permits registration however the ability to view player list is currently broken. We can still extract the data from this list, however, so it is important that all players have registered so we can ensure that sufficient capacity is catered for.

We look forward to seeing you there!

For those that are interested (dont have the time's at the moment) NGU will be running the following competitions:
- Halo 2: 2v2 (Xbox/Xbox 360)
- Old Skool Mario Kart: Race (Nintendo 64)

As well as that, the area is there for your enjoyment, come in and have a go at the 360 on the projector. If u want to organise a game with a few mates, come find me or Daredevil, we will be able to help you out

Look forward to seeing you guys there!

Max speed we got was 113mb/s IIRC

for some reason speeds dont like going fast via the uplink (probably due to congestion etc)
highest speed i saw was 119MB/s but that was only on a switch, not via any uplinks.
