Why is respawn only one day. Has it always been like this, or has it changed from the past?

'cause it takes from friday morning to sunday evening/night with all the behind the scenes work, and it would be really hard for people to get time off beyond that for every event

Ideally it has been discussed amongst the group that we'd like to trial a Friday night 7pm start time. Get some stuff done. However, in our current environment, ensuring the power and the network are A++ and ready to handle what you guys bring to it, makes it a difficult task. We want to do it, but we have to figure out a plan of attack. Although given I didn't get home until Midnight Sunday night... If we're on the go all that time, phew I can see some tired admins. And we all know what happens to Zardoz when he gets cranky, he needs his blankey and a night night story. (or as we discovered with V18, feed him a hotdog with sauce, and he's happy as larry)

The team have to spend the amount of time you do there, plus one and a half days setting up and packing up. They do have to sleep at some point.

Well i think if it where to ever start on a firday you either

A: Get some more ppl to help setting up (ie actually IT techys who know what there doing)

B: Maybe some more ppl would be interested in being admins for the event...

Like myself i would be more than happy to help set up sometimes , i do I.T for a living u kno haha

so the "IT TECHIES" are actually substantially qualified. This event we trialled some new equipment, and you'll note thanks to Zardoz and miniwalks, we had 3000x better experience because the network was faster, and STEAM WORKED! So I highly doubt this will change.
