It's time to LAN again!

Note that this event is pre-paid only up until a few weeks before the event's scheduled commencement. All registrations will be placed on the waiting list until payment has been received.

Winter is coming!  For some of us, it feels like it's already here. And what a better way to enjoy the colder months than sitting beside a gaming PC, socialising with your friends and then owning them in battle!

That's right!  We're back for another 29 hour session of 425 gamers under one single roof.  June 28th-29th, a capacity of 425 Bring-Your-Own PC places which continues to be Melbourne's largest event of its kind.

Registration is open and available right here!

$40 now eh?
What's the reason for the price hike?

Agreed, any story behind this?

We can't afford to run the event at $35 anymore.

Edit: as requested, I feel we need to make this clear. In the last 4+ years that we've run at $35, our costs have gone up in excess of 25%. We've put this off for a long time. Hell, it's a stretch to do it at $40 but we know some people find this a pain in the ass as it is - so we'll deal.

As someone who is directly involved in running a LAN event in WA, I understand the reason the Respawn team have had to increase the price not only for the benefit of everyone attending the event, but also to better improve the event as a whole. Costs do change and generally for the worst and in order for them to continue running these events, a price increase is required and it's not an easy decision.

Believe me, it's been a challenge to keep it at $40!

Again, we haven't done this for over four years and a lot can happen in four years. Our costs have gone up across the board that far exceed the percentage of the "price hike" and we're cutting it very fine to keep charging this little.
