Lol, this has just become retarded. Also ihasaflavur, i wanna point out ur comment "but you see, it's just too hard to be yourself nowadays, no one values people's personalities. we live in a vain, shallow world... and that's why metrosexual muztecs run rampant." that comment is quite vain and shallow on your behalf, who says those metrosexual muzztecks arent smart, and have funny sides. You should think about that. smile.gif

anyway. Gonna do my hair for respawn, LOLOLOLOL

how am i vain in that statement? didn't say i was hotter than them, no, i didn't, coz i'm not.
alright MOST metrosexual muzztecks aren't smart... 'specially the ones that live in werribee...

LOL

thinkin of something witty to say coz the female breed is round.. /fail

this is hilarious smile.gif

.. and who ever did the /throw pokeball... LOL

i also lol'd at /throw pokeball

why is it so difficult for guys to talk to girls? i've never understood that... well... the "attractive" type of my gender. it's like ppft, they look nice... and what?
i'm more intimidated by the intellectual males than the "hot" ones.
i like being a blokey-girl =DD

[aware this has nothing to do with anything really, and i should just stfu]

lol, intellectual males smile.gif, ull find a few at the lan i expect, and alot of just professional bumbs- not that there is anythign wrong wit that, i would rather be doing that then studying for the past 7 years. but yeah... dont know just always feel that girls gradin ya, guys dont give a fuck bout what u say tongue.gif.
hell it does have everything to do wit it tongue.gif , i is learning and u teaching .
/throws pokeball "i Choose u blokey-girl"

Clearly we need the Pokemon comp wink.gif
Having studied for the past 16 years (including primary school?) I don't feel very intellectual. Girls don't like hearing about computer science or discrete mathematics for some reason...

Okay, well, you know about computers? Do science to them. laugh.gif

(least scientific discipline I know of, magic numbers abound)

I can think of a few worse ones, but I like to think of most of it as engineering rather than science. While there are aspects of 'information' you can learn about by experimentation with computers, and there are bits of science you can do with computers, 90% of what you learn in these courses is more to do with understanding and building systems than learning how to analyze information theory.

Re magic numbers, in my experience it's usually a case of "well, we COULD analyse the relationships here and describe in great detail why X number is better than Y, but it's almost completely pointless, and we'll save a lot of time and effort by just accepting that X is the best number (or at least good enough for our purposes) and moving on." IMO a lot of the challenge of programming is not understanding every piece of code, but accepting and working with code you don't understand.

yes... sort of like reading the dictionary and not understanding the meaning, but instead of looking up each of the words you don't know you just quote the dictionary meaning verbatim?
(anywhere near that?)

i would kill for one guy that would sit and talk nerdy to me... I'm fairly certain the "adorable nerdy guy" who enjoys "weekends staying in playing video games and arguing about whether to install linux or 7" is rarer than "girl"...

Well, it's getting to be a pretty loose analogy there but I guess I would say "not knowing the meaning of the word but knowing where it's meant to be used and using it there." Which sounds a little scary when you consider it in the context of security or banking or whatnot, but hey, that's what testing's for...

Xbox_Girl: It isn;t hards to find a nice sweet Geeky guy, for one at Resawn you're in a hall with 400 or so of them. I'm sure ONE of them is sweet/nice.
Most of them are pretty scared of girls though wink.gif maybe you should take the first step and talk to them! tongue.gif
