My bro-in-law has given it a go and reckons it's good. Good enough to waste some time in.
Has the same issue with previous versions of NFS - no offline LAN support, have to be connected to the net.

The man is right though 100%.
The game is pure and utter shite.
Its trying to be something it can't.... and failing epically....
Forza 1 on original Xbox is 10x more enjoyable still.
This game just has major issues, it's SUPPOSED to be the more realistic version now with like more sim like handling and what not.... but I have NEVER.. ever ever EVER.... driven ANYTHING that remotely resembles what the hell these apparent cars in the game do. Pathetic. Like I know its a game, but like I play many car games (mostly sims with pedal/wheels on PC, but I'm still playing Forza 2 on 360 till I get 3 anyway) and like... 10+ year old games are more fun than Shift.
People that dont even play driving games, play it once and immediately can recognise that its a POS.
Yes, the game sucks English Royal Dick.

Well thats exactly why it's a sales hit....  They aim it at the group of people they will get the most money out of, rather than those who actually appreciate a proper racing game.... but of course this is not news and whats expected from EA obviously. |

there is a really weird way to apply the crack to this game... Grabbed the game at the last respawn and couldn't figure out how to apply the crack until one of my friends showed me...
Have played the game and I must say its really good. grphx are nice looking and the cars feel awesome when driving...
I would recommend having a steering wheel for this game tho, unlike with the previous NFS games, driving with keyboard in this game is really weird :/
