Magic The Gathering draft! $20 entry and you keep the cards you draft. 8 players per box. Remaining 12 booster packs will be distributed to the winners of that group.
So we're going to do an MTG draft. This means we'll buy a box of booster packs (We're still deciding whether it'll be Return to Ravnica or Theros), ask you guys to chip in for the cards, draft the cards, build decks and play!
We'll have enough basic land cards to lend you and we'll have some deck protectors available for sale on the day. Some of us should have life counters and dice to borrow if you need them.
For those who haven't played Magic before, we're happy to run you through some games. For those who have but haven't drafted, you draft by opening a booster pack, choosing a card, then passing around the table. The concept is that you pick cards that suit the deck you wish to build, then you play each other in a swiss-style tournament.
