Good morning everyone,

Quite a few months ago, I bought an ATI Radeon 5770. And until recently, not a single issue with it.

This weekend just gone, I bought a new TV, and decided to connect my pc to the tv via the HDMI connection. Video is crystal, but there is no sound. Yes, I set the HDMI audio out as default, but no luck.

Has anyone heard of this issue, and if so, is there a workaround? Any help would be appreciated.

I have 2 x 4370HD's and they both do it without a hassle in the world. Just make sure you've got the latest drivers for the card and when you connect it, it may require a few minutes to detect and install the HDCP/Audio control drivers I found with my 4370's.

Sounds crazy, but did you set the volume up on both the TV and the PC?
