Respawn Lan 10 Feedback Options

Hi.

I think what is needed here is a request thread, so that lanners can give us positive and/or negative feedback and suggestions.

In Reference to Nemesis Hill, V10 was the first lan where i have made a big push for more "funcomps". Funcomps being games that can have 32+ people in them, which are quick and easy to run, and the admins and players can both compete.

HL2DM was one of these and honestly if it wasnt for my own servers being completly stupid and only allowing 16 players, it would have been AWESOME.

So i will be making much MUCH more of that happen from now on

EXPECT TO GAME LOTS AT V11!

In terms of the comments relating to admins giving a level of customer service, The guys that run/help out at respawn lan work pretty much 3 days straight with minimal sleep. If someone got cranky i apologise for that, however its sometimes because one of us or a few of us are just worn out by 3am sunday morning

Bad language is offensive to some people i understand completly, however you have to expect a bit from a lan. Its just the way lans work. Being told to "fuck off" is never appropriate however and i will be making sure that front bench admins/gophers know this.

We try our best to give lanners as much help as possible, and we always aim to improve this with every lan.

So we will work on ways to make it easier for lanners to identify each admin/gophers role, so its easy for you to find the right person to ask questions.


I am closing this thread at this point, and will open a new request thread where lanners/gophers/admins/anyone can post requests or give us feedback!

It was an awesome lan people and i hope the next one will be twice as awesome!!!
