Time to get my first shirt

Given I don't have a team currently for the comp, I guess I'm looking for another 2 players for a Joust crew.
I prefer to play hunters and mages because I suck at melee.

I'm guessing due to being on team Wolfbro that I might end up sitting in the gophers section unless I end up physically located near the wolfbro himself.

On account of this I request 29D, because who doesn't want the D?
However since someone else wanted that, I'd probably be game for 28C instead.

So v29 coming up in like January so thought I'd see about recruiting some people early.

What I'm after is 3 other people who own System Shock 2 (totally cheap on Steam) to join with me on a single continuous play through (ok, so maybe food breaks) of System Shock 2 in cooperative.

This isn't CoD, or BF or anything like that.
This is something that takes skill, brains, and teamwork, the objective to complete the game on the hardest difficulty.

Well like all MMOs we are required to bring our own internet in order to play.

Well I'm looking at logging in to play during the lan, not sure which of the worlds to join though at this time.

One friend was suggesting the EU Blacktide, but I'm more keen for US based on routing.

We should push for it to become recognised so people will play it.

Of course since it's not CoD, TF2, MOH and so on it'll be a real struggle.

Well with the single copy I bought I ended up with a 3 day gift pass.

I wonder if the 4 pack includes additional passes.

If I have to I'll buy a 4 pack to give to people.

I have no idea of a good number, I played in a game online which was 3v3.

I guess the more people you get the more detailed your strategies and tactics can be, but totes more then 3 per side.

Even different spots in the hall give different coverage.

It really is a bit of a gamble and generally I only really use it for web browsing and IRC and other text based stuff.

So, game came out awhile ago, has lan support, designed around two teams of players using squads and a commander.

Cheap enough, based on L4D2 Source engine, and I think could be worth it.

I'm hoping to play it at Respawn.

Hmm, well I have the game, it works, however I'm not certain how it will handle multiplayer in a lan situation.

Assuming that all players Friend each other, they should be able to do a private game invite.

But seriously not sure what they were thinking in relation to p2p only for 8v8.

Ordered my key last night from here which is the cheapest price around at $33.31.
Now provided they don't screw up like they did with Deus Ex I should hopefully be playing it on release.
They may not be fast, but they are cheap.

It looks like the release date of Space Marine is next friday.
So it's looking likely that we can play it.

So far Space Marine and Soulstorm (oddly enough) are even, need to break that tie.

I would point out that soulstorm is rather unbalanced and broken, it's a flawed product.

Whatever we end up with, latest patches and for the original DOW games I'll hunt those down.
