Please guys, we came down there getting nothing in return as a service to you guys, the community. If you don't have anything nice to say, please keep it out of this thread. I know that some people didn't like listening to the final, but there were many (including some admins iirc) who did.

A huge thanks to GameStah for the efforts they put in. While not all appreciate the service, I know I certainly did, and we look forward to working together in the future. happy.gif

Listened to the Lan In a Van vs. Republic of Tibet

Was quite a laugh.

Thanks for shoutcasting at Respawn, I enjoyed it.

As SirSquidness stated. The Gamestah commentary was absolutely second to none. Definately a great addition to Respawn. I am currently listening to all the shoutcast streams as I type this and they definately all came out great. smile.gif

While commentary is not everyones cup of tea, the majority of people I talked to absolutely loved it and this is something we definately need to look into continuing in the future.

Well done guys. smile.gif

Putting it lightly.
Without letting my personal bias creep in, shoutcasting should be opt-in for spectators. We have the technology to stream audio over lan, let's do it.
The majority of Respawn attendees are not CS enthusiasts (feel free to correct me here) or competitive gamers in the professional sense of the word and I actually found it quite difficult to talk to the person next to me, let alone hear my own game being played (ultimately, each person's individual aim of coming to the lan - the games they want to play).

tl;dr Vuvuzelas.
