So like.. I hope you guys realise that it doesn't matter when between now and the close of confirmations, but you'll still be in the same spot come time for the LAN. Confirmations aren't based on when you confirm but when you registered.

Obviously that list will look very different 48 hours b4 oscar mike.. but I can give u the names of atleast 4 peeps who definately wont b attending, so if your waiting and keen I'd say ur chances of getting a spot are pretty good for the 1st 30 or 40 i reckon.

They'll be moving the confirmed players to the top of the list at some point (usually a week before the event iirc) but that means there would have to be 178 people above him on the list who don't confirm for him to get in.

Sort of.

Some time next week, the player list will get 'bumped'. Anyone that hasn't confirmed will get put below people that have confirmed, otherwise remaining in the order that you registered in.

eg, before:

1 Bob (confirmed)
2 Mary (not confirmed)
3 Jane (confirmed)
4 Don (not confirmed)

After,

1 Bob (confirmed)
2 Jane (confirmed)
3 mary (not confirmed)
4 Don (not confirmed)

So yes. If you haven't registered yet, you can't get in. But if you have already registered, you have until some time next week (I'm not sure when) to confirm. The higher up the list you are, the less likely someone ahead of you will take your spot.
If you're one of the first 500 people to register and you've confirmed, you're guaranteed to get a spot once the shuffle has taken place.
