"There can only be one highlander!?" Lolsauce just forgot the quotation. Need answer to lolsauce's question ASAP. Also the person who is talking about a 19" is talking about dual screens I think. Which as far as I could see would be a no go. takes up too much space. On top of pc like you said would be ok. But its a bit pointless tbh, too high up to see properly.

Yeah looked to me like it was a question\ about bringing a second screen, too. I don't think the rules have changed, only one screen per person from what i believe

Well i would put my case behind my screen and then put the 19 on top of the case, therefore alowing me to sit back and monitor dc++ "chat" whilst playing games.
wouldnt take up extra space i hope

My laptop is 17inch, normally its all i bring but at home i use it with a 24 inch (that i won when i bought the laptop :>) i have always been so tempted to bring the extra screen but never do and always make the right decision in not bringing it. Thing is it takes up to much space to have 2 screens that are close to 40 inchs in total. You couldnt do it in the one space. My guess is if you want to take up a whole table pay for the two spots? If thats allowable. Does mean one less player though

You'd fit in your spot then. If you take up an entire table, yes, you pay for two spots. You are allowed to do that.

Also, buying 2 spots for one person, that was me having a little dig, but i think thats a bit unfair. Better to have more players than one person wanting more room. can't bring your huge screen bl i guess....

pretty sure the general consensus is no to dual screens unless one of those screens is a laptop. having said that, you get half a table length, so 2 screens would be pretty hard to fit on that unless one of them is on top of ur case, which is a pretty precarious position.

Well, just looking at the T&C of Respawn (http://respawn.com.au/?page=guides.tandc), it says "Should anyone wish to bring two PC's, or additional equipment, they may be asked to pay a surcharge.", this shows that it is allowed, whether or not it is looked highly upon is a different matter all together though, but the point is you can.
That being said, if the T&Cs were followed properly there would be no porn... And well... Anyone who has been to Respawn knows how well they are obviously being held up.

If only certain other people remember to lock their PCs. If you forget to lock it we are obliged to do strange things to your installation, such as input language, backgrounds, homepages etc. This is to teach you that leaving your PC unlocked around a few hundred gamers is really not a good thing to do.

QUOTE (R4N @ Jan 14 2010, 08:50 PM) Dead_man never locks his PC, which is why i always launch every application on his desktop. I thought thats why we changed his computer language to a foreign one, he changed his password so we changed it back to english forcing him to format?
