#16 Newbie Questions Inside :D, Help :0 Options

Hello kind person. How's your toe feeling? Better? Thats good!

Anyway, I was wondering if you could answer me some of these questions. (as i have left it a bit late to ask but meh)

Numbering is fun;

1. I've been wondering how everybody seems to get their stuff into the venue? Like looking at the first few pictures from v15, i see ppl carrying cases and stuff, but i dont see many carrying their kb's & monitors...
Well what i mean is, in my case; i'm getting dumped off there by myself with my stuff. I'm just wondering if there are any tricks to carrying your monitor, kb and pc all at the same time. (and possibly sleepbag, refer to q6)

27. Now this'll sound stupid, but is there a map or something to the union hall? (thats not the stupid part, the stupid part is that i actually go to this uni) I'm only asking cause i know theres a few ways into the hall and i'm just wondering which entrance you guys setup and line at.


13. Whats the deal with the foodstuffs, such as the bbq? approximately how much are these deliciousnesses?

Personally i am taking 2 suit cases with wheels on them.. as one of them fits my case and screen,
Then put the under the table as there is no where else for them to go!

I have being told by tank tables 90x75!
So if you can fix the cases under the table with you, and you case ifs inside a suitcase i would recommend it.

Hmm 90cm x 75cm. Kk. The luggage case thingo ma bob'll fit under that, QQ that tower wont fit in that case tho.. good thing it has a handle

Going by that, i think i'll just monitor, power cables, power board etc etc in the case with monitor.

And thanks for the map. Know i'd seen one somewhere. And good thing i asked, i woulda gone up by the eagle bar, around the moat theatre and been like.... "guyyys? where is everybody o.O?"

102. Whats the deal with security and stuff? I read that ppl leave their pcs and go up to maccas... or they go 'upstairs' and sleep? Cause if this is the case, i presume that there have been no thefts? Do you guys have an precautions you take as individuals, such as recording serial numbers etc? :s Cause i know i wont be at the pc the whole time

In all respawn events we've never had a theft.

90cm x 75cm is the table top space you will get. the tables are fairly standard height.

Both BBQ's (midnight & Sunday breakfast) are provided for free ^^

Go with friends, or make friends with the people you sit with and take care of each other's stuff when one of you has to leave.

I actually have a lock on my case, and always lock my PC if I'm going to leave it (but that's mostly because an unlocked PC is an invitation for strange wallpapers, left-handed mice and inverted displays when my friends are around >_>).
