Hehe.. i was a Rez Admin... basically the admins who had been running it since it started were getting tired of it, and PLG (pheonix / overload) were running lans in the same area so.. yep smile.gif

was an awesome lan.. many good memories happy.gif

I have been to a private one up in ballarat a few times. Apart from that, 3xtreme, and respawn are the two big ones i attend.
DLC/Greentube is our local lan (s) - they run sepeately but have recently run a joint lan which ran well. I never got a chance to go to rezidue or shafted sad.gif
whats this nomanslan thing? does it still run? I was planning on making an appearence at the next bluewirelan and cobra lan, however cobra lan does look like the sort of lan that isnt for me (10/100 unmanaged network... ew.) I think a road trip to SGL is in order.

Bluewire lan runs (Usually if respawn doesn't clash tongue.gif) on alternate months to respawn, Which works out quite well!
It's a smaller more community/niche lan though. Still alot of fun smile.gif

You have a choice of

http://www.greentubelan.com/
http://www.dlc-lan.com/

They both recently run a joint lan for 45 people or so. It was a decent lan, held in seaford off frankston-dandy road. I attend dlc regularly - average turnout of 20.

I'm up in Bendigo, so all your 'burb LANs aren't really a choice. Except for epic ones. Such as respawn. Then it's worth going down.

We have two main ones going at the moment.

The private one myself and another guy run (Most we've had is 45, average 35ish) with the help of quite a few contributors.

BLAM is a revived LAN (it's being run by a guy I know, not the guys that used to run it though). It's last LAN (#4) had 40ish too. It's open to the public. Quite a good LAN. Small LAN, so we can get away with unmanaged gigabit (when the cables don't fall out), and we.. err.. learnt a little about the circuit layout in the hall we'll be using too. Let's just say they were kind enough to not provide us with a circuit diagram, and nobody thought to check out circuits before the LAN got going (not my fault. I wasn't there until later in to the first day tongue.gif)

There's another week long private LAN that happens yearly, with weekenders throughout the year. It's a house LAN though. So hot, cramped, etc. I've never been able to get to a week long one, but the weekenders are epic.
