I dont know if it can be helped or not but by making CSS..TF2..And CoD4 practically run over each other it makes it so you only get to play one game

And for the amount of time that respawn goes for it would be great if we could atleast get two in

I dont think it matters what time it is

CoD4 and CS:S have always overlapped, and it has always been advised that going into the event you know which of the two you want to play.
As for TF2 overlapping, as a TF2 player, I don't mind, it's better than it running at midnight like normal. To be honest, I like the midnight start. What I don't like is the time we had to wait for Flatout 2 every event. So on that account, I thank the admin team for making this change.

Why why why can't starcraft be bumped back to a half decent time.

as has been mentioned several times over i dont remember over how many events.

there are only so many comps i can run and once and so many hours in a day.

Swap it with Quake 3, that game is ancient

last time i ran at 9pm we only got 5 teams appear whilst running at 12:30AM sunday last lan got us one of the biggest turnouts since we started running TF2.

im trying for the 9pm again this time to see what happens. but if i get a poor turnout again i dont know what ill do.

Guys, please be mindful of the fact that the schedule is worked out on a number of factors but not limited to: admin availability to officiate, sponsors wanting to be involved, space constraints, time constraints etc.

Whilst "Q3" might be old, instagib fun comp still draws alot of players.

That said, every event close we open a thread marked "V<whatever> - Feedback thread" for you to post comments in. This is where you should be telling us. Please try not to leave the feedback to <5 days to the event when we're finalizing things. As often things cannot be changed so close to the event (sponsors etc).

I understand that, and I don't mind when im told to shut the hell up. I'm sure more people are into q3 than SC, but with SC2 being new and all I thought maybe you should have a shot and putting it in a more mainstream time frame.
Either way I'm gonna try to enter.

Starcraft2 loves the internet. We only have so much pipe out, so I believe the running of SC2 is Contingent on us having available bandwidth for battle.net logins and data processing. Your concerns are valid and no I'm not saying silence, but saying how to really get the teams attention and change the future!

We love and thrive on positive criticism.

However.

SC2 is one of those games that was never really designed for a 400p lan. We have had people working on getting the battle.net logins working in our environment, with our (quite slow) internet connection.

TF2 is a big issue for us. Some lans we get tonnes of players, some lans we get like... 3.5 teams. Whereas COD4/CS get large crowds all the time.

You Know what u have quake 3 there but no Unreal tournament 2k4 of Unreal tournament 3 now that is a game i used to love as a kid, ultimate carnage with blood everywhere

Just because it's not an official competition doesn't mean it wont get some play time \o/

Well SC2 on a Mobile Phone net works pretty ok!! so problem sorted!

A SC2 connection will tentatively be available at the event. We have it working under test conditions; it should be good to go for the event.

Is there still going to be a girls comp even though tanks gone?

I will gauge interest for the girls comp on saturday, if people wanna play, Ill run it!

Should be some good prizes too.
