I don't know if anyone has mentioned it previously, but a beta of over 1 million players is going to be hold, coincidentally, on the same weekend as the respawn lan (v24).

Will respawn be allowing players with preloaded clients to play? If so will there be any form of events for such players?

Anyone looking for someone at the lan to join during beta should post here or on www.ixlegion.net, where i'll have a vent server and multiple other people playing through beta for a laugh.

Well I'm looking at logging in to play during the lan, not sure which of the worlds to join though at this time.

One friend was suggesting the EU Blacktide, but I'm more keen for US based on routing.

Wait, I might be slow here, but isn't there no internet at respawn? I'm still going to play a bit through my iphone as a tether though lol

Well like all MMOs we are required to bring our own internet in order to play.

I honestly have no idea if GW2 will be playable at the even, I'll have to ask staff if it doesn't work if they can allow it.

The unofficial oceanic server is Sea of sorrows, at least I think that's what its called, its something like that. Damn, i wish i knew people were gonna be playing haha i was so desperate to play it. I hadnt slept for 2 days and got right back into the beta as soon as i got home from respawn lol.

This coming beta weekend all the races will be unlocked.

Release Date (For Preorders): August 25th (3 Days Head Start for the special people)
Release Date: August 28th. (For Everyone Else)

Will be on Isle of Janthir (Beta: Kinjeto, Game probably the same name to carry over launch day.)

I wonder if Guild Wars 2 is even/was even playable @ LAN. I'd go lanning again if GW2 was lan-able over the intranic. Might need some work on the PC though.

There was at least 4 or 5 of us playing gw2 at v24.5, it was fun times even though we didn't actually play together we watched each other play every now and then and had a chat about it.
