i registered at 9pm on the dot. does that matter in the scheme of things? Is it in preference order of time or just a general 'confirmed' or 'didnt corfirm' by a certain date?

The date you confirm your registration does not matter; all players on the list are still ordered by their original registration date. Players who have not confirmed by the time registrations close are shifted to the bottom of the list, giving confirmed players priority.

When do the registrations close? theres three of us coming down from bendigo together, but we didnt manage to get in early enough. As things stand, we need to know asap if one (or all) of us wont make it (we're all currently confirmed) because things would kinda go bad if some of us can go, and some cant (one person is providing the car, while another drives, etc)

basically, here is a timeline to assist in showing hwo this all work, as many people seem confused!

What the CONFIRM BUMP is, is when all the people that have NOT confirmed, drop BELOW people who HAVE confirmed.

eg: before bump:



right? so theres a whoooole bunch of unconfirmed people in amoungst the confirmed players. at the point in time, the list is sorted to REGISTRATION date, not confirmation.

PLAYER BUMP! WOO!




The list is STILL sorted according to registration time! just that everyon NON CONFIRMED drops down! so all the confirmed players shuffle up!

That's why all of us admins/uber gophers keep telling you all to wait for the BUMP! to consider arriving or not. If you're still super dooper worried, PM me and i might give you a phone number to call on the day.

ps, the player bump will happen in a few days. i'm not 100% when, but it happens 3 or 4? days before the event.

And if all else fails, the doors open to anyone (or just people that didn't get in the top 450 people on the player list? I don't know) at 3 or 4PM in the arvo (or there abouts. I dunno). Which is before a lot of the comps 'n stuff happens.

So if you're willing to wait a few hours to drag in your PC, you'll be fine regardless.
