TF2 is free eh... Options

Hey, with a few days coming up until v21, I thought this would be a good time to let anyone know who didn't already know, TF2 is free!

What does this mean for us at Respawn?

Anyone who is interested can play! (..woot)

At the moment, I have 3 pub servers planned.

First is a general TF2 server, with full map rotation for official Valve maps and a few custom maps that will be used in the comp.

Second is a MGE Mod server, this is a 1 vs 1 deathmatch mod for TF2 based on some of the more common map areas. Wanted to prove to your friends that you are better than them in 1 vs 1, here's where to do it!

And finally is just a fun server because I want to see how this modification works.
This modification is a randomizer mod, it's hard to describe, so here's a video on how it works.

Now, think you are pretty good at TF2? Why not get 5 friends together, or even get on the Respawn Forums (this one or the one at the LAN) and find 5 other players to play with you in our 6 vs 6 competition.

If anyone has any other server mods they are interested in, let me know, and I will see what I can do (quite a few I have looked at are apparently broken post-uber update).

Note: The game files for TF2 will be hosted at the LAN. This will prove to be extra useful if Valve follow their tradition of having updates on the Friday or Saturday of Respawn... Damn time zones...

This respawn's tf2 should be fun. I should try to find the timetable thread and see if it's being held earlier, in light of possibly increased participation.

Being the procrastinator I am, I just started working on the randomizer. It kind of works, but has a few glitches.
The two I have found
1- You sometimes get spawned with the ammo of your normal weapon (running around as a pyro, with a sydney sleeper with 200 ammo for example)
2- For some reason it isn't forcing a change when you die. I have no idea why. That being said, I can manually re-roll it. If I'm on the server, let me know when you want to be re-rolled and I will do it, if I'm not, message me on Steam (www.steamcommunity.com/id/priorax feel free to add, if I ask who you are, just say it's Respawn related and I won't care) and next time I'm at my desk I'll do it.

It also turns out that the heavy is insanely overpowered...
Unlimited ammo on the blutsluger, with rapid fire, no speed penalty to walking, -2 hp per second..
