Guild Wars 2, Beta Even on at same time as v24 Options

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it previously, but a beta of over 1 million players is going to be hold, coincidentally, on the same weekend as the respawn lan (v24).

Will respawn be allowing players with preloaded clients to play? If so will there be any form of events for such players?

Anyone looking for someone at the lan to join during beta should post here or on www.ixlegion.net, where i'll have a vent server and multiple other people playing through beta for a laugh.

This Beta Weekend Event begins Friday, July 20, at noon PDT (GMT -7) and ends Sunday, July 22, at 11:59 p.m. PDT (GMT -7).

This coming beta weekend all the races will be unlocked.

Release Date (For Preorders): August 25th (3 Days Head Start for the special people)
Release Date: August 28th. (For Everyone Else)

Will be on Isle of Janthir (Beta: Kinjeto, Game probably the same name to carry over launch day.)

If you haven't considered Guild Wars 2 yet its' 60 AUD or 80 USD or 100 USD if you're into collecting boxes.

Side topics: (Kind of World of Warcraft related, No I don't mind World of Warcraft it has its own merits and I've played a certain F2P MMO not listed here. Lets just say I'd rather people didn't play Free to play, pay to win, once again a different argument.)

I wonder if Guild Wars 2 is even/was even playable @ LAN. I'd go lanning again if GW2 was lan-able over the intranic. Might need some work on the PC though.
